Will is a formally trained architect with his MA Hons and DipIoma 2 from Edinburgh University in the UK. In 2008 he established Hudson Architecture.
After graduating, he spent several years as a travelling chalk street artist, doing street paintings in Edinburgh, London, Berlin, Sydney and Toronto.
Recognized for seductive, enigmatic works in oil on wood panel, Will’s picture surfaces are engaging - favouring oil paint with chalk and graphite - allowing wood grains to emerge as elemental texture. He completes each painting with a clear resin that operates as a lens.
In 2008 Will co-founded the art installation collaborative 'Semaphore Group' who have exhibited at the Scotiabank Nuit Blanche in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014.
